How to create additional FTP accounts in DirectAdmin

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is an internet protocol that allows you to transfer files to your web hosting account. You can create FTP accounts in the DirectAdmin control panel.

To create an FTP account inDirectAdmin:

1. Login toDirectAdminat http://yourdomain.com:2222
2. Navigate to FTP Management(underAccount Manager)
3. Click the Create FTP Accountbutton
4. Enter the details: the desired Username, Password, FTP user’s directory
5. Click the Create button

To remove an FTP account in DirectAdmin:

1. Login toDirectAdminat http://yourdomain.com:2222
2. Navigate toFTP Management(underAccount Manager)
3. Select the FTP account you want to remove
4. Click the Create button
