A domain name is an Internet address (example simplywebservices.com): it is similar to a customized license plate or a permanent phone number or address. If your organization’s name is Tom’s Hardware, you could register the domain name tomshardware.com and your e-mail address could be something like tom@tomshardware.com. Basically speaking, your domain name is the core of your Internet identity, your online brand. Your customers will remember this name and use it to find out about your products and services. And since no two parties can ever hold the same Web Address simultaneously, your Internet identity is totally unique. Please keep in-mind that you own the domain name for 2 years initially then annually there after.
