How to create a POP email account in DirectAdmin

You have set up a website, and now you need to create an email account. DirectAdmin interface will help you.

To create an email account, follow the steps:

1. Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel by accessing https://yourdomain:2222
2. Look for E-Mail Accounts (underE-mail Manager)
3. Click the CreateAccountbutton
4. Choose theUsername,Password,Quota,andSend Limit(Quota is how large your email box can be / Send Limit is a throttle of how many emails can be sent in one day, 1000 is the default)
5. Click theCreate Accountbutton. The new account will be created, and you will receive a confirmation message: “Account created.“
6. Test it by accessing the account via a POP3/IMAP client or via the DirectAdmin panel -> Webmail: Squirrelmail or Webmail: Roundcube
