How Long Does It Take for a New Website Hosting Order to Be Processed? #
Typical setup time: 4-6 hours. In most cases, we have your hosting account fully set up and ready for you to upload files within 4-6 hours of your order — with 24 hours as the outer limit under normal circumstances.
Domain Registration and DNS #
The timeframe above applies only to your hosting account. If you’re also registering a new domain name or pointing an existing one to us, that involves a separate step through your domain registrar and can take longer:
- New domain registration usually takes from a few minutes to a few hours.
- DNS propagation — the time for your domain to fully “see” your new hosting worldwide — can take up to 72 hours, though it’s often much faster in practice.
