Do You Allow for Bulk Email? #
We do not allow unsolicited bulk email (“spam”) and maintain a zero-tolerance policy. This protects our shared server’s email reputation, helping keep deliverability high for all our hosting clients.
Sending Legitimate Newsletters or Mailing Lists #
If you send mass emails to customers or subscribers who have opted in (a newsletter, announcement list, or similar), that’s not a problem — just contact us first, and we’ll flag your account accordingly so it isn’t mistakenly flagged as spam.
**Note:** Email accounts have a default Send Limit of 1,000 messages per day. If your legitimate mailing list is larger than that, let us know so we can adjust your account’s limit.
For actual newsletter campaigns (rather than internal team distribution), we generally recommend a dedicated email marketing service like Mailchimp or Constant Contact rather than DirectAdmin’s built-in mailing list tool — dedicated platforms handle unsubscribe compliance, deliverability, and analytics far better for customer-facing campaigns.
What Happens If Spam Is Reported #
If spamming is reported on your account, we’ll open an inquiry to confirm whether it’s actually spam. If we receive spam complaints from ISPs about your account, your site may be subject to immediate suspension — so please make sure you’re only sending to recipients who have opted in.
