Since 1994, Simply Web Services, LLC has evolved from a computer repair business (CJ Computers) to Fredericksburg’s full-service web design and hosting company (starting in 1998). As a women-owned / veteran-owned small business, we know what it takes to make a small business succeed. Our web design services are tailored to meet the needs of both small businesses and enterprise-level organizations. Simply Web Services, LLC is a local family-owned company based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Simply Web Services offers a comprehensive range of online marketing services, including website design, search engine optimization, social media marketing, and Google products such as Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Ads (formerly Google Adwords).
Beginning in North Carolina in 1994, the company has changed focus and rebranded through the years; however, our core values remain the same – providing a findable company image online within a reasonable budget.
Simply Web Services is one of the area’s oldest web development businesses. We have helped hundreds of local businesses and non-profits start or maintain their web identity. All of our work is completed in-house by our experienced and trained staff.
Simply Web Services leases servers from one of the top business-to-business hosting firms in the world, and through association, we are able to offer you services that most others cannot, hands-on hosting services to help maintain your site in a secure, regularly updated manner.

Often the "Get Proposal" link or button is very informal and extremely inaccurate. Think about it, someone clicks a button, answers a couple of questions and expects an accurate quote for a new web design project. Many of these "Get Proposal" forms, don't even ask any real questions about your project. How accurate will that quote be? Not very, since we don't know anything about you or your business, beyond the questions you answered on the form. We prefer to talk to our clients, either face-to-face, virtually or over the phone. From that conversation, we can generate a more accurate quote.
Plus one of the questions is always, "what is your budget", which translates, tell me how much you want to spend and I will make sure that is how much you spend plus 10%.

We will provide appropriate stock photos as needed. It’s factored into the cost, though we prefer that you use your own photos.
Yes, we will train you on the website when we put it live. You can record it or invite website editors to learn about how to do this. If you later decide you need help with anything or want to just have us do the updates, we suggest you bundle as many updates together as possible as we do charge by the quarter hour, $150/hr. Payment is due at the time of service. Right now it’s one rate –this may change in the future, but this is our rate presently for all service offerings (custom graphic design, coding, content edits, etc.).
Yes we are, we have been operating in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania since 2002. We not only operate in Fredericksburg, but we reside in the neighboring county of Spotsylvania, so we are truly local. We don't farm your project overseas or offsite for that matter. We do the work ourselves locally.

Meeting with a client is extremely important to the design processes, as we get the opportunity to know more about what you like and dislike and get to know your personality some.
We designed our first commercial website in 1994 and moved to the Fredericksburg area in 1998, we changed our name from CJ Computers to Simply Web Services in 2002.
