A website design project can vary greatly depending on a multitude of factors, including the website's size, the type of website (brochure-style or e-commerce, for example), and how much customization you want. No two website projects are the same; therefore, our pricing structure is flexible and customized to the specific needs of your project. Our website design projects are custom-tailored to the client, so providing a cost without knowing precisely what you want isn't easy. For those reasons, we can't give a price here, but we can say that sizes range between $2,500 and $5,000, but can go much higher. We don't believe in nickel-and-diming our clients. As long as the project scope doesn't change, we won't go over the estimated cost. We are always open to working within any budget. Please get in touch with us for a detailed quote and an initial consultation.

Website maintenance is a crucial part of owning a website, and it is also the most overlooked aspect. A website must be updated regularly to keep your business information accurate and visible to your clients. Just as the content needs to be kept up to date, the code behind the website must be constantly updated and secure. Many website plugins get updated at least once a month, if not more often. These updates are feature releases and often security updates that plug security holes and vulnerabilities. Check out our website maintenance page for more information.

You’re welcome to be as involved as you’d like – but we’ll realistically only need a few hours from you (at the start and towards the end of the project) as long as you are available to answer questions when they arise. Please let us know at the initial consultation meeting if you want to be more involved. During that initial meeting, be prepared to educate us on your business and business model, so we have a solid understanding. Just remember that you hire a professional, as they see the topic/skill, so please consider our comments and requests as we try to steer your project in the direction that we know works best.

The information you need to provide will vary depending on your business type. However, you will need to provide text and images for the About Us page (a very important page that should not be overlooked) and the services/products pages. If writing the content isn't something you'd like to tackle, we can do it for you for a small extra fee. If we are building an e-commerce page for you, you will also need to provide information and photos of the products/services you are selling online. We are available for hire to draft that text and take those photos as well if you desire.

Timelines are variable, depending on the site's complexity, the client's availability for feedback, and how soon the content is ready. Clients set the pace of the site. A website can usually be finished in 6-8 weeks, but much of this depends on the client and how quickly we receive the site content and how ready that content is for publishing. We can complete a website quickly if needed, but we will require all content to be ready for use. Our current workload also plays a big part in how long it will take to complete a web design project. We operate on a First-In, First-Out basis, which means we handle the clients in the order they sign and pay for their projects.

How we receive the content from you is a huge factor. We have received content in digital format, all proofread and ready for publishing, as well as content written on napkins and sticky notes. One will take less of our time than the other.

We will first lay out several mockups of what we envision your new website looking like. You will get three revisions at this stage. This is your time to make major changes, such as colors, the placement of elements, and the overall design flow. Once we are in agreement, we start laying out the website following the roadmap from the previous step. Once we have the website laid out, you will have three additional revisions. This is the time to make minor changes, such as images and wording. At the end of the day, we won't rest until you are satisfied, but if we are at the end of the project and you want to change the colors, it will severely delay the project timeline and likely increase costs. Once you are happy with the look and feel, we ensure the website undergoes our rigorous quality control process before it is launched and made live to the public.

We use Photoshop to lay out the website mockup, and then we use WordPress, as it lets us customize the website to what you want. WordPress is also a great foundation for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Ask/Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

We can build pretty much anything; we have built portals, e-commerce stores, business brochure sites, blogs, services directories, and much more. We specialize in small- to medium-sized business and non-profit websites, but we have built larger projects as well. Our experienced team can cater to all your web design needs.

Our process begins with a thorough understanding of your business goals, target audience, and industry landscape. We will sit with you to discuss all these aspects and then answer your questions about the project. Based on the information collected during this initial meeting, we will outline a custom web design project for your business.

We design everything in-house, likely by our lead designer, Joe. Unless specifically requested, we do NOT farm any of our work overseas (unless that is what you want).

Yes, we prioritize designing websites that are mobile-friendly and responsive. This means your website will work on mobile devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, and laptops), ensuring it is properly formatted for different screen sizes and resolutions. This will improve the overall experience for your clients who use your website.

Yes, we design websites using the content management system (CMS) called WordPress, which allows you to easily update your content without needing advanced technical skills. We also provide training and documentation to help you manage your website effectively. If updating it yourself is not something you desire to do, we offer maintenance packages. We can manage as little or as much of your website as you desire. We are your web partner.

You will own the completed project (website, logo, graphics...) once you have paid in full, and then eight (8) weeks after (to avoid chargebacks), we sign the project over to you, and you own it. We hate to have to wait eight weeks, but we have had a couple of unscrupulous clients in the past who have taken the design projects, paid, then did a chargeback, effectively stealing the work from us, and continued to use the website for years after.

Unfortunately, many business owners underestimate the importance of a quality website. But it’s something that your visitors will not only pay attention to but will also use when determining your perceived value. Think about it: if you visit a website for a local restaurant and the photos of the food shown on the website are not appealing or appetizing, how likely are you to visit that restaurant?

A poorly designed website can lead to high bounce rates (customers who quickly leave the website) and upset customers, who will instead shop at your competitors. A professional, responsive website will attract and retain visitors and instill trust in your brand.
