How To Display Email Headers

Email headers can be important when tracking and tracing an email, your ISP or web host may ask for them from time to time.

Gmail

1. InGmail, open ‘original‘ email
2. Click for the menu button (down arrow next to the Reply button)
3. ChooseShow original

Mail for macOS

1. From theViewmenu
2. SelectMessage
3. SelectAll HeadersorLong Headers

Outlook 2016 (for Mac)

1. Right-click(or ctrl-click) the message (do not actually open the message)
2. SelectView Source

Outlook (for Windows)

1. Right-clickon the email message
2. SelectProperties
3. ClickDetails
4. SelectMessage Source

RoundCube

1. Log in toRoundCube Webmail
2. Openthe email message
3. Click on theMoreoption, then select theShow Source icon

SquirrelMail

1. Log in toSquirrelMail Webmail
2. Openthe email message
3. Click theView Full Headerlink under the options section

Thunderbird

1. Open the email message
2. In the Menu, selectView
3. SelectMessage Source
