Previous Automotive & Repair Clients

Accordion Plus, LLC (2009-2024)

Accordion Plus, LLC, found strong leadership and management skills in Dale E. Wise, M.M.E. His desire to promote the company through sales of quality products, prompt service, and satisfied customers is paramount. He brought a lifetime of professionalism to the company in many aspects of the accordion industry, including teaching, performance, product development, repair, and accordion design. Accordion Plus, LLC offered everything the accordionist needs. We have over 50 years of teaching, repairing, and performing experience.

We were contacted by Dale in 2009 to help him recover his website after it was hacked. We found an old, clean copy of the website. Then we discovered how the hacker got in. We closed the attack vector (the way the hacker gained access to his website), and then we helped him maintain his HTML website, which was developed in 2003. Dale was very old school and didn’t want to modernize his website.

Dale not only had us change the textual content but also had us change several graphical navigation elements, images throughout the website, and generate a text-based order form. This meant that we had to match the graphics and fonts perfectly so no one would notice the changes.

We worked with Dale monthly for nearly 15 years, keeping his website up to date until his passing in mid-2024, when the company and website were closed.

Rock with Doc Henley Smythe (2006-2014)

Web Design – Then vs. Now

Rock with Doc was the website for the Fredericksburg area DJ, Radio Personality, and Musician ‘Doc’ Henley Smythe. Doc was larger than life, and his distinctive Irish accent was heard throughout Fredericksburg on WWUZ FM in the mornings for many years in the early 2000s as the morning DJ, and later on WJMX FM. When he was on the airwaves, he was also heard in the evenings playing bass with his son in the band Bucky and The Bluesbuckets

Doc was also a very popular event disc jockey, playing weddings, corporate events, and school parties throughout the Fredericksburg region.

Doc contacted us in 2006 to build his first website to promote his DJ business, and rockwithdoc.com was born.

Doc remained a very loyal client until he was diagnosed with cancer and closed his DJ business and website in 2014. Sadly, Doc passed away in 2016 from his cancer and will be missed.

Hear & Pray Ministries (2006-2008)

Web Design – Then vs. Now

Hear and Pray introduced a new method for helping you pray for your children – Scriptural Prayers for Your Children. Hear and Pray was a prayer recorded on CD so you and your children can listen to and learn from it. Deborah contacted us in 2006 to design a website for their new small business in Stafford, Virginia, and to help them digitize samples from the CDs they are marketing through the new website.

Deborah closed the business and website in 2008.

Melanie Rutland & Rutland Enterprises (2006-2008)

Web Design – Then vs. Now
This Project Predates WordPress and Modern Frameworks

Melanie Rutland was a local gospel singer. Melanie and her husband also operate a church in Spotsylvania. As Melanie described her album, in moments of connection, you comprehend unspoken words and feel unspoken emotions. In those moments of understanding, we become connected to one another. Her wish is that the music of this album brings you moments of connection with God, friends, family, and loved ones. Each shared moment is a gift…a memory waiting to be made…cherish it…for it will never pass this way again.

We were contacted by Jared (Melanie’s husband) in 2006 to design a website to help Melanie showcase her voice and sell her gospel music CDs.

Beyond building the website, we also ripped the music from the CD, converted it to MP3, and edited short samples for inclusion on the website. This was a pretty simple brochure-style website.

In 2008, for health and personal reasons, Melanie stopped selling her gospel CDs and closed her website.
