The Chimney Sweep & Duct Cleaning, Inc. (The Chimney Sweep) is one of the largest chimney service and repair companies in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area, serving Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, and the Lake of the Woods. They are certified, licensed, and insured, offering professional services to their clients with the highest quality parts and unmatched workmanship for more than 25 years.
Project Overview
We were contacted by Jack back in 2010 to maintain his then-current website. In 2012, Jack had us make major modifications to his website; eventually, he had us redesign it.
Jack and Joe, both Marine Corps veterans, connected over their shared service background, which helped build trust early in the relationship. Over the years, we have redesigned this website several times for the client.
Challenges
Jack was slow to relinquish design control over his website, which at times made it difficult to help him market his business online.
Solutions
This was a redesign of the website that Simply Web Services had previously designed for the client. This redesign is built on WordPress.

Conclusion
Jack retired in 2024, and his nephew took over the business in his absence. We are excited to continue working with The Chimney Sweep & Duct Cleaning and to see what direction Cody wants to take the business.
