About Client
Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Payne Logistics, LLC is a modern freight brokerage built on decades of transportation leadership experience. Serving freight and logistics clients across the Shenandoah Valley, Northern Virginia, and the Eastern Seaboard.
Project Overview
We were contacted by Vicky in 2026 to design a website for freight brokerage Payne Logistics, LLC. This is the fourth website that we have designed and developed for a division of Payne Inc. We have developed several versions for Payne Trucking and Payne Storage, and maintained a website for Payne Property Development.
Challenges
Often, with new businesses, there are hurdles in designing the website, logo, and promotional materials, such as business cards. In this case, since we have been working with Vicky for many years, she knows the pitfalls and was able to provide us with a logo, photos, and text.
Solutions
This brochure-style website was built on WordPress.

Why a Professional Website Matters for Freight & Logistics Companies
In the freight and logistics industry, your website is often the very first impression a potential shipper, carrier, or business partner has of your company — and in an industry built on trust, reliability, and timely communication, that first impression matters enormously. Whether a prospective client is vetting your brokerage before handing over a load, or a carrier is researching who they want to partner with, they’re going to look you up online first. A dated, incomplete, or hard-to-navigate website can quietly signal that a company isn’t as established or professional as it claims to be — even if the actual service behind it is excellent. On the other hand, a clean, modern, and informative website immediately communicates legitimacy, giving new and existing partners confidence that they’re working with a company that takes its operations — and its brand — seriously.
Beyond first impressions, a well-built logistics website works around the clock to support your business development. It should clearly communicate what you haul, what regions you serve, how to get a quote or request service, and how to reach your team quickly — because in freight, speed and responsiveness are everything. For companies like Payne Logistics that operate as part of a larger family of businesses (Payne Trucking, Payne Storage, Payne Property Development), a consistent, professional web presence across every division also reinforces brand trust and makes it easy for partners to see the full scope of what your organization offers.
