Conclusion

We designed the website Kenneth was looking for, along with a logo, so he can better market himself to residents in the City of Fredericksburg’s first ward.

We enjoy working with Kenneth, and we were sad that he didn’t win his bid for office.

What The Client Said

"I truly appreciate the service. Please let me know what else I need to provide. Thank you." ~ Kenneth Gantt

Why Every Political Campaign Needs a Professional Website

Running for office means your website is often a voter’s very first impression of you — and in a local race like a city council seat, that impression can make or break undecided voters who are researching candidates the night before they vote. A clean, trustworthy, mobile-friendly website signals that you’re organized, serious, and ready to represent your ward, while a dated or confusing site can quietly cost you support before a voter ever reads your platform. For a candidate like Kenneth Gantt — an Army combat veteran and community leader running to bring transparency and real engagement to City Hall — the website needed to reflect that same sense of service, professionalism, and readiness to lead.

Simply Web Services built Kenneth’s campaign website from the ground up on WordPress, including a custom logo, QR code for easy sharing on yard signs and flyers, local photography around Fredericksburg, and secure PayPal donation integration — all while adapting the site in near-constant development as his platform and the political landscape evolved throughout the race. We also built in basic SEO and secure, reliable hosting so his message stayed visible and accessible to Ward 1 voters throughout the campaign. Whether you’re running for city council, school board, or any local office, Simply Web Services has the experience to build a campaign website that builds trust fast and keeps pace with your race as it unfolds.
