About Client
Creative Academy Childcare & Camp offers private schooling in a homeschool atmosphere, with an emphasis on the basics. The academy was established with two major goals: (1) meeting the developmental needs of children to promote emotional and physical well-being, and (2) providing support systems for families to enhance parent-child interaction.
Project Overview
Renate contacted us, or as she is known, Mrs. “B”, back in 2007 to build out a website for her growing child care business. At that time, she had established the Creative Academy Childcare & Camp and was working to open the Creative Child Care and Academy locations on Harrison Road and Tidewater Trail. Today, we are on the second iteration of websites for this client.
Challenges
This project was pretty straightforward, with the exception of trying to tie down the textual content, as Mrs. B was obviously very busy getting the new locations open and operational.
Solutions
This was a redesign of the website Simply Web Services, previously designed for the client.
Logo
We were contracted to design a vector graphic logo for the Academy.
Photography
We arrived at the farm (now closed), toured the facility, and took a ton of photos (mostly of the farm and animals) for inclusion on the website. These photos were taken for the client’s use and are not shown here.
Photoshop
We were asked to add “signage” to their brand-new building so it could appear on their new website and in advertisements.

Conclusion
Mrs. B loved our work so much that she hired us a few years later to make a website for a new business venture of Creative Studio Fun With Art Studio. Her husband also hired us to make a website for his new business venture, Creative Music Academy.
We are currently working on a new website for the client.
